Jon Hamm, Duran Duran & More Celebrate ‘South Park’ Season 15 [VIDEO]

September 21st, 2011 // 4 Comments

Can you believe South Park has been on the air for 15 years? Shit son. And the best part that South Park is still consistently funny. That’s hard to maintain after 15 years. Probably. The stars came out in full force to celebrate the show’s 15th anniversary. We had Mad Men’s Jon Hamm, best band of the 1980s Duran Duran, actor and filmmaker Eli Roth plus way more.

Everyone looked so happy and casual at the event. Like, it was actually something they wanted to go to and not just something that was trust upon them. Creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone looked especially glowy at the event. I’m sure it has something to do with all the Tonys they won and the 15th anniversary of South Park.

The show comes back to Comedy Central in October, but we’ve got a special preview trailer just for you, after the jump. Also, has South Park made fun of Mad Men yet? I can’t remember. If it hasn’t, it should. And Jon should do a voice! We know he’s OK with awkward and hysterical scenes, so I’m sure he’d be great.

Also, why is Duran Duran there? Not that I mind, of course. Just seems a bit more random than other celebs. Check out the gallery to see everyone who attended the event, then make sure to check out the season 15 trailer after the jump. Let us know how excited you are for more South Park in the comments!

Duran Duran look so great! Simon has never looked hotter (and he was never my favorite anyway), and Nick looks like he hasn’t aged at all!

  3. Really? Things I did not know. Thank you, Jane. Also, let’s be honest. It’s all about John Taylor. Hottest member of Duran Duran then and now.
