36-year-old actor Joey Lawrence may play some wholesome parts on television, but look for Joey to take on an R rated role in Las Vegas.
Lawrence will be the guest host of Chippendales at the Rio from June 7-24. Lawrence, according to press notes, “will flex his vocal cords and muscles as he sings, dances and hosts the #1 male revue in the Las Vegas.”
Lawrence, seen here looking very fit in Los Angeles, made his Broadway debut in Chicago in 2007. He initially rose to pop-culture fame as a teenager on the 90s hit television series Blossom. More recently, he was a finalist on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars and toured with the stage version of the show throughout the U.S. and Canada. He currently stars in the ABC Family series, Melissa & Joey. As a music artist, his hits include “Nothin’ My Love Can’t Fix” and he is currently working on his third studio album.
