Joe Manganiello was all over Comic-Con 2012 in San Diego on Saturday (July 14, 2012). He took part in the True Blood panel, and partied in the WIRED Cafe as well as whopping it up at Entertainment Weekly’s 6th Annual Comic-Con Celebration sponsored by Just Dance 4 held at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego.
Manganiello, who plays Alcide on True Blood, teased his role in the remainder of Season 5 to The Hollywood Reporter.
“I really feel like I’m having the full True Blood experience,” he said. “I get to have sex with a bunch of people. I get around sexually, I kill people. It’s pretty rad.”
While there was plenty of talk about season 5 of True Blood, which is currently on the air, THR couldn’t help but chat for a bit about the potential sequel to the hit male stripper film Magic Mike.
“We all said if this thing makes money, we’re doing another one.”
The film was directed by Stephen Soderbergh, and Manganiello said he would want the director to return for the sequel.
“You don’t do a male stripper movie unless you get to do it with the people I got to do it with,” he told THR. “I think keeping that core unit together, that’s where the magic came from.”
