Adding Joe Manganiello to the list of handsome devils on USA’s White Collar was a fabulous idea, if only for the eye candy it provides us day after day. The scruffy werewolf signed on to guest-star as a villain on the series, which already hit the jackpot with Matt Bomer (holy hell, those eyes).
We can’t forget that other program which brought on the Pittsburgh native to play rugged, rough-and-tumble werewolf Alcide Herveaux. However, when season four premiered June 26th, fans tuned in to find an Alcide-less episode. WTF True Blood?
Breathe easy, friends. Alcide returns in the third episode with a romantic interest that makes Sooki jealous (something the fairy herself wasn’t expecting). Manganiello told TV Guide, “The great thing about Sookie is that she drags him off on all these adventures. She’s the key in unlocking that reluctant hero inside of him and he recognises that as a good thing.”
The series will get into the details surrounding Alcide’s background and the difficulty he faced accepting his fate.”They brought in some of his backstory – how hard it was for him growing up as a werewolf,” Manganiello explained.
