Joe Jonas Is Living The FastLife With His New Solo Album
With a new album and a new solo tour, Joe Jonas is a new man. Although he may still be known as a “Jonas Brother” to many, Joe is trying to break out on his own with a fresh, R&B-flavored image by releasing his first solo album FastLife, which dropped on October 11.
Joe is so adamant to leave behind his pop trio days that he has been garnering production and writing credits from R&B-types Rob Knox, Brian Kennedy, Danja and Chris Brown, according to MTV. Joe even got Lil Wayne to spit on the remix of his second single, “Just in Love.” Joe is taking his transformation very seriously, co-writing each and every song on the album. He told MTV News “It was scary in the beginning, just because I knew this is my one opportunity to show people my journal: the good and bad of every relationship I’ve been in, you know, [and] what I look for [in relationships].”
Joe isn’t taking his chances with the world passively warming up to his new image. He has already dropped 2 singles, “See No More” and “Just in Love,” just wrapped a tour with Jay Sean, and will bring his music to Britney Spears fans by opening for her on the European leg of her tour.
So what do you think of this “new” Joe Jonas? Are you buying his R&B side, or will he always be a third of a pop act to you? Check out these new photos of Joe coming from ITV Studios in London on October 11, and tell us what you think!
