Jessica Alba And Valentine’s Day Help With The Dating Drama

Okay, so there’s no doubt about it, dating can suck. Ever had a first date where the girl gets plastered and starts crying or the guy starts checking his watch five minutes in? There are things that can get you through it (and alcohol should used sparingly. See example one.) It can help to know everyone else has been there too.

Jessica Alba may have settled down with husband Cash Warren, but the star knows a few things about the dating life. “I thought it was my job to give all the boys their first kiss,” she has said.

Jessica often found love, or something like it, on the set of her films. Back in 1999 she dated her Idle Hands costar Devon Sawa and during her success on Dark Angel she dated, and was engaged to, her costar Michael Weatherley. Later she was linked to both her Into The Blue costar Paul Walker and Scott Caan (damn, Jess). She also dated Mark Wahlberg, but the whole actor on actor thing didn’t never worked out for her .

“I’m way too high maintenance to be in a relationship with an actor,” said the stunning Valentine’s Day actress. “I don’t need a man who spends as much time in front of the mirror as me.”

Enter Cash in 2004 and happiness and little Honor Marie followed.

So see, there is evidence out there that when you walk into a bar and realize your friend has set you up with someone who has an inexplicably large head this is all leading somewhere. In the meantime, turn around before big head sees you and pick up a bottle of wine and a movie that shares your dating drama. We recommend Valentine’s Day.

Valentine’s Day on Blu-ray and DVD 5/18.
