Jessica Alba Takes Daughter To Library Of Congress

Not giving any clues whether her new baby is a boy or a girl, a pregnant Jessica Alba took her 2-year-old daughter Honor Marie to the Library Of Congress today in Washington for the National Education Association’s Read Across America Day.

The 29-year-old actress read The Cat in the Hat to a group that included about 10 schoolchildren and Honor. The 2-year-old tot kept busy with her own little purse full of books, toys and a lollipop.

“She loves babies, she loves her dollies and she likes taking care of her dollies. I think that’s the closest association she can really have with a baby,” Alba said about Honor gearing up to be a big sister.

She also said that her upcoming role in Spy Kids 4 this summer was the first time she plays a mom in film but that it was natural and fun.
