The first annual Milke + Bookies event brought together celebs, kids, and story time on Sunday. Marlon Wayans read the book his mom read to him Green Eggs and Ham and Jason Biggs chose to read Pickle-Chiffon Pie unaware of the R-rated visions the immediately come to mind with Biggs and pies.
Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli brought their three kids for a family day out. The Twilight star said that his 12-year-old daughter had only been allowed to read the first book in the Stephenie Meyer series.
”I’ve got to spread them out,” the protective papa told the press.” Let her get old enough to read the other two. I think I would let her read the third one when she hits 13, for sure.”
This event just screams Jennifer Garner and there she is with The
Seven Silly Eaters, in hand but no cute Affleck munchkins. It looks like a mini Alias reunion with her costar Greg Grunberg and the show’s
creator JJ Abrams also in attendance. Abrams doesn’t have a book in hand, but maybe he’ll make up a story as he goes along.
If I didn’t know who Dave Grohl was I might be concerned he was at an event with children. How ’bout a little smile for the kids, Dave?
