Jennifer Hudson To Release Weight Loss Memoir

Grammy Award winning artist Jennifer Hudson is turning her weight loss journey into a book scheduled to be released in January 2012. Hudson wants to give weight loss advice and explain her journey from childhood where healthy living wasn’t a priority.

You will find Hudson speaking out about the importance of healthy living. This May, Jennifer Hudson attended Weight Watchers’ 3rd Annua I Walk-It-Out Challenge. During the challenge $100,000 was donated to the Alliance for a Healthier Generation an organization that’s trying to stop childhood obesity. The decision to losing weight stemmed from being a good example for her son. Hudson lost 80 pounds with the help of weight watchers and her husband’s support. Its wonderful that Hudson wants to end the generational cycle of a non-active and unhealthy lifestyle for her son.

UPDATE: Jennifer has been hospitalized after experiencing “abdominal pain” moments before she was due to perform on the Early Show. Hopefully she’s okay!
