Jay-Z, Coldplay Take Las Vegas At Grand Opening Of The Cosmopolitan
A star-studded crowd made it to the party of the year, the New Year’s Eve celebration for the grand opening of the $3.9 billion Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas. A concert with Jay-Z and Coldplay as headliners drew out a high-profile audience including Kirsten Dunst, Channing Tatum, Mark Salling and dozens of other celebs. And the concert even had a few surprises, with Beyonce joining her husband Jay-Z on the song “Forever Young” and John Mayer providing the guitar for an acoustic version of “99 Problems.” Jay-Z told the crowd the concert was a “once in a lifetime event” and judging by the star power of the audience (and the price-tag: $1 million for each act!) people will be talking about this one for a long time.
