Jared Leto, who went for a bike ride backstage at The Fillmore Miami Beach before his band 30 Seconds To Mars performed, talked to the Miami Herald a bit about the name of his band.
”The significance is that it makes people ask questions more than giving answers,” he said. “It accurately describes our music.” Which, just as he said, spurs questions. How does it describe his music?
“It’s a journey, it’s a lifestyle. We are more an experience, a community, a celebration — than we are music. An escape from reality.” There doesn’t seem to be much need to escape from his reality, with the lawsuit settled and an international tour for The War underway.
