Remember in Jared Leto’s Oscars acceptance speech when he paid tribute to those fightings in Ukraine and Venezuela?

Well the actor has taken things to whole new level. Jared was spotted in Ukraine today, visiting protesters and paying his respects to those that have died in the on going fights. See, this is what I love about Jared, he doesn’t just say stuff. He actually does stuff.

While performing with his band, 30 Seconds to Mars, in Kiev last night, Jared reiterated what he said at the Oscars.

[midpostembed id=”9822257″ type=”gallery” title=”jared leto: the king of instagram selfies”]”I know it may be difficult but there’s no price too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself,” he told hoards of fans at the concert. And if you thought a little internal struggle was gonna stop Jared and the boys from performing in Ukraine, you were wrong. “I understand other bands have cancelled their shows but there was no f—king way” they were going to do that.

During his visit today, Jared shared this photo on Instagram with the caption, “Independence Square Ukraine.”

I look forward to whatever magical humanitarian cause he’s got going on next. Unless he decides to still with Ukraine for awhile. Launch the gallery to check out all the photos of Jared’s visit. And just in case you need a refresher, check out his Oscars speech below.
