Pregnant actress January Jones was joined by her co-stars Lucas Till, Rose Byrne, Zoe Kravitz, Kevin Bacon, James McAvoy, and Michael Fassbender last night (May 25) at the premiere of X-Men: First Class at Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City.
Jones who is expecting her first child, insists she hasn’t been eating weird foods. “Everybody is asking if I’ve had any odd cravings. I haven’t yet,” January revealed. “It’s a bummer. I wish I had something weird to tell.”
There has been talk of comparisons of how Michael Fassbender, who plays a young Magento in the film, played his role to that of James Bond. Screen Rant asked if he’d be up for the role: You know … I don’t know. I really don’t plan anything ever because it never seems to work. I’m just [like] – let’s just get this film out and see how this one does. And I’m sort of in the middle of doing [Ridley Scott’s Prometheus]. And, you know, Daniel [Craig] is doing a great job. We’ll see what happens. I’m very flattered that people are sort of making that link, but – I don’t know. We’ll see.
X-Men: First Class centers its story on the beginning of X-Men saga, when Xavier and Magneto were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. They were working together with other mutants to stop Armageddon. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.
