Janet Jackson Says She’s Through With Making Albums

Janet Jackson is so O-V-E-R making full-length albums.

The singer finds that albums are no longer relevant in the age of the digital, and she only wants to make singles.

Ex-boyfriend and prodcuer Jermaine Dupri, said: “Last time I heard she really didn’t
want to do an album. She wanted to just do singles every once in a
while. She’s looked at the marketplace -albums are not really doing
what they usually do when you put all this budget out there. Janet is
just trying to figure out her landscape.” I can deal, but that better not mean there will be less Janet performances, cause girl can still bring it.

Apparently Janet, pictured at the Costume Institute Gala on May 3, wants to focus on what sells: movies. She’s already got a role in Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married, Too? under her belt. She’s slated for another movie with a megawatt cast, For Colored
Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf
alongside Mariah
Carey, Kerry Washington
and Whoopi Goldberg.
