Jan Adams Ends His Larry King Interview, Blames Patients

November 21st, 2007 // 1 Comment

Oh, it started off nice and friendly, but Dr. Jan Adams, the surgeon who operated on Kanye West’s late mother and whose credentials have since been called into question, eventually got to the point during his live interview with Larry King where he simply took off his microphone and walked off the stage. Adams claimed that he was ending the interview out of respect for the West family, honoring their desire that he speak publicly on the matter, despite the fact that he recently gave an in-depth interview to the L.A. Times. Interesting. And in the light of the numerous lawsuits against him, including 11 malpractice suits, Adams blames his patients for his problems. “These suits don’t represent bad plastic surgery, they represent a bad decision in terms of choice of patient,” he told People. Well, sir, when people walk into your office asking for botched surgeries, you just have to learn to say no.
