James Franco Accepted Into Yale, Remains Very Funny

March 30th, 2010 // Leave a Comment

You might know funnyman James Franco from Pineapple Express, serious James Franco from Milk or damn hot James Franco from Spider-man (or everything really -  he can even pull of a little mustache at the Berlin-Tegel Airport on February 10 ). He has spurred thoughtful articles with his surprising move to day time soap in the midst of his successful film career, but perhaps where he surprises us the most is with his dedication to school. Well as much time as he can dedicate anyway.

Franco received is undergraduate degree from UCLA where he wasn’t able to give the commencement speech due to time conflicts and has been working/sleeping on an MFA at Columbia. We didn’t even know that he was also attending Brooklyn’s College MFA program and New York University’s Tish School of the Arts graduate program for film (while filming the General Hospital). No wonder he fell asleep in class.

Now his manager says that the man of many trades has been accepted to Yale for a Ph.D program and, though he hasn’t made an official decision yet, “He loves Yale and it is more than likely his first choice.”

Hot and a Dr, could it get any better than that? Actually, it could. While he pursues serious studies, he maintains his sense of humor. Check out in his hysterical clip from Funny Or Die after the jump.
