Last night (October 9), Grey Goose celebrated the 49th annual New York Film Festival with Dior at The Weinstein Company’s screening of My Week with Marilyn. Guests sipped cocktails including the Grey Goose Pear Flower and the Grey Goose Red Velvet before the screening.
Michelle Williams‘ Brokeback Mountain co-star Jake Gyllenhaal was in attendance to support her and her new film. The movie documents the tense interaction between legendary actor Sir Laurence Olivier and Marilyn Monroe during production of The Prince and the Showgirl.
Michelle wore a low-key white dress as she posed on the carpet, and showed off blond locks in a bravely short hairdo. Later she posed with her co-star Eddie Redmayne, who plays Sir Laurence’s assistant.
Michelle also had a team of voice coaches to help her get Marilyn’s breathy voice right. She revealed:
“I’m not a singer. I have not sang since I was 10 years old. I was taught about breathing, about how to deliver emotion on the lines instead of just saying the words. So I had [my coach] and then I listened to [Marilyn]. She still comes up on my iPod all the time.”
