Jada Pinkett-Smith And Marc Anthony’s Show, ‘Hawthorne’ Cancelled
For the handful of devoted HawthoRNe viewers, the end is nigh. TNT announced today that it was cancelling the cable series, starring Jada Pinkett-Smith and Skeletor Marc Anthony. Both parties have battled the nasty rumor that they hooked up, which “sources” claim caused the demise of their respective marriages. In yesterday’s interview with Good Morning America, Anthony didn’t speak about the nature of his relationship with Will Smith’s (estranged?) wife.
According to Us Weekly, Pinkett-Smith told fans on her WhoSay page today, “Hey everyone…if you don’t know Hawthorne will not be returning for another season,” the star, 39, wrote. “I want to say thank you to all the fans for being Hawthorne soldiers…All our facebook fans…twitter soldiers and viewers…you held us down. Of course you know there is more to come…believe it!” Pinkett-Smith and Anthony were spotted in May heading into Del Posto for TNT and TBS’s Upfront afterparty in NYC.
Naturally Pinkett-Smith and Anthony’s teams vehemently deny this. Welp, don’t have to worry about that issue anymore.
