Is A Britney Themed ‘Glee’ Episode In The Works?

April 26th, 2010 // 1 Comment

After Lady Gaga themed and Madonna homage episodes, it would be a downright disgrace if Britney Spears didn’t get her time in the Glee spotlight. After Spears’ manager suggested the idea via Twitter, creator Ryan Murphy is smitten with the idea.

“I’m interested in the Britney Spears idea. I’ve always loved her,” he said. “I’m entertaining it. I think young kids would like that.” Entertaining it? What part of Britney and Glee doesn’t sound like an amazing idea? The two go together like a pop star and hospitalization for exhaustion!

Speaking of trips to the hospital, Murphy seems to think having a Courtney Love themed episode would be a good idea. Um, she really connects with the youth on Twitter?

“I actually ran into
Courtney Love the other day and talked to he,” he said. “She’s
interested. I would love to have the kids do a Courtney Love episode
one day.”
Well of course she’s interested. But how on earth would an a cappella group sing her music?

Stick with Britney (pictured yesterday in Los Angeles); I don’t think “young kids” would like Hole.

  1. Britney is a joke

Desperate measures for her P.R. team. I think the idea of doing a show of a ONCE very popular star who destroyed her life by her selfish and demented behavior who now needs constant supervision like an adult retard, is a great idea!! What a joke.
