Inside ‘artRave’: Lady Gaga Unleashes ‘ARTPOP’ Album With World’s First Flying Dress
Proving that the singer is always transforming herself, Lady Gaga emerged as a space age Sky Dancer during her artRave event at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
Check out the video to watch Gaga blast off in her battery-powered, propeller-operated dress. (Spoiler alert: by “blast off,” I mean “hover precariously,” but it’s still pretty exciting.)
During the party, Gaga was joined by artists Jeff Koons and Marina Abramovic, both of whom the singer collaborated with during the making of ARTPOP. Attendees were treated to a performance of songs from the new album (out today), and an exhibition of all things Gaga/ARTPOP.
So what’s the next step for Mama Monster? According to the source, the 27-year-old has aspirations of performing in the final frontier. That’s right, one day extraterrestrials may be treated to a Lady Gaga concert on their home turf, and will probably take her in as one of their own.
