IKEA confirms: Olivia Palermo, Sean Kingston, Trey Songz and Fabolous Actually Have Skills

…at assembling IKEA furniture that is!

Their new marketing strategy: “If these celebrities can do it, so can you!” – kidding! They’re sticking with their sex on the counter top Austria strategy or at least I hope they are.

But if you’re anything like me and wonder, “What skills do these celebrities actually have?” IKEA came to the rescue (of Olivia Palermo for the most part) by giving them a hammer and a cause.

Palermo, Sean Kingston, Trey Songz and Fabolous came out to support IKEA, The Life Improvement Store and New Yorkers for Children (NYFC) in a project to make over rooms at the ACS Children’s Center, which helps children transitioning into foster care in New York City. As part of the IKEA Life Improvement Project, which helps people to build better lives at home and to improve the lives of others in their communities, the IKEA design experts created a space at ACS Children’s Center that will make a difference in the lives of children who spend time at the center for years to come.
