Tons of fan favorites hit the red carpet at the CW Upfronts in New York City today, include the recently broken up couple Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder (who posed adorably with Joseph Morgan). The didn’t pose together on the red carpet, but did appear together on stage at the event.
Joining them at the upfronts were Arrow‘s Stephen Amell (he needs to learn how to loosen up on the red carpet), Susanna Thompson, David Ramsey and Katie Cassidy. Plus stars from The Carrie Diaries, Beauty and the Beast, Hart of Dixie and more! My only question is, where were Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki?
There are three new shows, and five returning series are moving to new nights and/or times. Only “Arrow” and “Vampire Diaries” are staying put. More on the changes and the full fall schedule is below.
Those are The CW’s two most successful series – success being relative. So it’s no surprise that we’re getting a pair of new shows from the producers of those two.
“We had a terrific season last year, growing our audience on-air, digitally and socially,” said CW president Mark Pedowitz.
“Now we are building on that success by continuing to add more original programming all year long, and by adding high-concept, exciting shows to our schedule that will help us continue our mission of broadening out our 18-to-34-year old audience.”
