It is that time of year again – the White House Correspondents Dinner. A mass of celebrities has descended on the nation’s capital for the annual event.
It’s the who’s who of Washington DC and unless you are a nobody or you missed the chance to get your tickets when you had the opportunity, you will be missing it. The annual event that allows you to schmooze and network with some big names is certainly the hottest ticket in town.
Seth Meyers, who is hosting the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner Saturday, had to retool his jokes for the event after Donald Trump gave him more material this week, Politico reported Saturday.
The Saturday Night Live comedian said he wrote new jokes for the annual gathering of politicians, reporters and celebrities, after President Barack Obama released his birth certificate on Wednesday and Donald Trump held a press conference in New Hampshire taking credit. “It required an adjustment,” Meyers told Politico. “But I think ultimately it’ll be for the better.”
