‘Hunger Games’ Star Jennifer Lawrence To The Rescue!
While 21 year-old Lawrence was not the first to find the girl, she stayed on the scene and even handled the girl’s possessions and knelt with her to try and help with the situation.
Local police told E! News that they received a call at 6:49 p.m. and confirmed the Hunger Games star stayed with the ailing woman until paramedics arrived and left the scene at around 8 p.m. There was only a report filed, which means that the girl needed no further medical care so we can infer that she is doing fine.
According to the New York Daily News, “(Lawrence) was walking her dog when she saw the juvenile. She stood by as a Good Samaritan until officers arrived and spoke with them,” said Sgt. Richard Lewis with the Santa Monica Police.
I guess the 2011 Oscar nominee (for her role in Winter’s Bone) really is down to earth like they say. The star was on the scene in gray work out leggings and a tank top, obviously out enjoying the nice evening with her dog. Jennifer, now extremely famous for her role as Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games trilogy, is signed on for the next film, Catching Fire, set to start filming later in the year.
