Hugh Jackman‘s unrelenting world tour to promote X-Men Origins: Wolverine has been put on hold due to the swine flu outbreak. The premiere which was originally scheduled to take place in Mexico City on Wednesday has been postponed.
A rep for 20th Century Fox told Us Weekly, “There is a possibility it could be rescheduled. Hugh is obviously beloved [there] so we’ll see what happens. We’ll monitor the situation.”
It’s a shame that they’ll be missing out, considering all the hard work that the Aussie put into gaining 15 pounds of pure muscle for the role.
An even bigger shame is the fact that there were numerous nude scenes shot with Hugh that will never see the light of day because of the action flick’s PG-13. Out of courtesy, the director handed Hugh a bag of film.
Jackman told OK! magazine, “‘OK, now I know why that’s in a bag!’ Now it’s in my safe somewhere. My privates in a bag!”
