Hugh Jackman fans definitely have a reason to celebrate today! Not only is the talented actor hosting the Tony Awards, which celebrates excellence in theater, but he has exciting news!

He recently confirmed his return to Broadway for his fourth show! When speaking to The Associated Press, he shared, ““I’m going back to Broadway. I’m doing a play called ‘The River,’ a Jez Butterworth play.”

Even with all this exciting news and palling around with Jon Hamm, Jackman has a warning for his fans.

As you can tell from the above photographs, the 45-year-old is wearing a bandage on the bridge of his nose. No, that isn’t a fashion statement.

Just a short time ago, he had skin cancer removed. The form he had is called Basal-cell carcinoma. It’s common, though malignant. Death is rare, though disfigurement isn’t exactly uncommon.

Taking to Instagram, he shared a photo of himself donning the bandage.

Using his popularity to raise awareness, he captioned the photo: “Another Basel Cell Carsinoma. All out now. Thanks Dr. Albom and Dr. Arian. PLEASE! PLEASE! WEAR SUNSCREEN!”
