Damn, season 1 hasn’t even finished airing yet! But I will tell you, it’s uber boring. It’s as if The Real Housewives of D.C. is too polite, too proper and filled with too much social grace and etiquette, which is what is usually missing from all the other incarnations (and why they have more viewers).
An insider told PopEater, “At first, execs thought they struck gold with all the attention the couple got over the White House dinner. But now they realize not all press is good press and this couple’s involvement in the show has turned more viewers off than on.”
There just seems to be bad blood all around between the pair and Bravo, each bickering about what the others are allowed and not allowed to say. But the network issued a statement,
“Bravo [has] consistently and repeatedly stated to the Salahis and their representatives that they were free to speak to press, law enforcement, Congress and anyone else about attending the State Dinner. Indeed, they have given multiple press interviews on that very subject.”
Earlier this week a new book came out claiming that Michaele suffers from MS! I find it hard to tell when these folks are ever telling the truth, if that’s something they even bother doing.
