Someone cue “Leather & Lace” for the lady Christina Hendricks who strutted down the red carpet in both for last night’s premiere of the fourth season of Mad Men.
All eyes were on the 35-year-old as she sashayed along in a black Dolce & Gabbana lace dress that hugged her shapely figure in all the right places. Joining her was of course the ever dapper Jon Hamm and his long-term girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt.
Fellow co-star Elisabeth Moss was also dressed to the nines in a green one-shoulder confection but guess who wasn’t there: January Jones, nor her new boytoy Jason Sudeikis. Oh, really…
The fourth season starts up this Sunday, and the first episode picks up around Thanksgiving 1964, a year on from last season’s finale, a plot device it seems everyone is doing these days.
“I wanted to hit the ground running,” says the series creator Matthew Weiner in a recent interview.
“These people are going to have a whole new set of problems, and it will keep me from repeating myself. Why tell the same story again, about how bad Don’s marriage is? We told that story. I also felt that we’d covered every inch and corner of Sterling Cooper’s offices,” he added.
Check out the cast at the premiere last night!
