Last night in West Hollywood, the Sunset Tower hosted the Hollywood Domino And Bovet 1822 Gala Benefiting Artists For Peace And Justice.
The hotel was transformed into a “Film Noir” set, inspired by the cinema style of the 1940s and 1950s, with cocktails provided by CIROC.
Celebs like Kristen Davis, Rose McGowan, Heather Graham and Josh Hartnett partook in the world-famous tournament that will benefit Artists for Peace and Justice, a non-profit organization founded by Paul Haggis and friends that encourages peace and social justice and addresses issues of poverty in communities in Haiti.
Stars mingled and took part in an auction, while an orchestra played in the background throughout the evening. Gerard Butlerhosted the event, and took a moment to predict an Oscar winner.
“His movies are so watchable and so sophisticated and classy. I loved Argo. I also really enjoyed Silver Linings Playbook.” But, “I think Argo will take the Oscar.”
Butler would rather sit this year out than be in the middle of the madness on Hollywood Boulevard.
“I was thinking of maybe going up and visiting a space station and missing all the mayhem and then come back down Monday,” he joked.
Too right, old boy. Too right.
