Famed Cuban Telenovas actor, William Levy, was spotted leaving a restaurant yesterday (Jun 25) wearing a sports cap to show his support for the Miami Marlins in Miami, Florida. The actor tweeted on the Jun 23 and ended the evening on a hopeful note,”C u all 2morrow at the Marlins Stadium at 12:30 pm. I’ll be throwing the 1st pitch of the game Marlins vs Blue Jays. Have a beautiful night”
The talented Dancing With The Stars third runner up hearthrob is a spokesman for the Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) 2012 Youth Awards. As a representative, Levy reaches out to high school seniors in the Latino communities across the US to address the importance of identifying and nurturing leadership qualities in students in the classroom to apply for various academic grants provided by the organization. The variety of academic disciplines for grants offered range from Education, Math and Engineering Heathcare and several more.
It is only sensible to involve William Levy in such campaign and it was all too clear to the HHF Vice President and Executive Producer Maria-Esmeralda Paguaga that he is a major contributor and active model in his efforts to invite the youth of the Latino community to reach their potential. Speaking about Levy, Paguaga says ” As an agent of change and role model for achievement, William offers inspiration and enthusiasm to our Latino youth to continue shaping a brilliant future for our community. “Levy is a role model in the campaign to get students involved to take on leadership in the workforce for the future of the United States. Levy is involved in a Public Service Awareness campaign to promote the organization and its cause.
