Hilary And Ex Drop Restraining Order Against Stalker

This is weird. Weren’t they claiming this guy was trying to kill their asses last month?

Former couple Hilary Duff and Joel Madden have decided to drop their temporary restraining orders against one of two of their alleged stalkers.

TMZ obtained documents filed Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court by the star duo’s lawyers, which requests a dismissal of the restraining orders against celebrity photographer David Joseph Klein.

In October, Duff and Madden filed temporary restraining orders against Klein and his roommate Maksim Miakovsky, an 18-year-old Russian emigre. The former couple feared for their safety and requested that a judge order the alleged stalkers to stay at least 100 yards away from Duff, her sister Haylie, Madden and his twin brother Benji.

More on the stalker stuff, and more photos of Hilary and Joel during happier times, after the jump.

In November, Miakovsky was arrested and booked on charges of making criminal threats and stalking Duff. He remains behind bars.

Wouldn’t it be erring on the side of caution to KEEP the restraining order going against the guy who was allegedly trying to kill them? Or do they really need him to take their picture or something? Is his work that good? Also, it’s a little suspicious that they filed the order as a couple, broke up, and are now dropping it. Is she so bullshit that he took up with Richie that she never wants to see him again even if it means dropping a joint restraining order and risking this fool taking her head off with a cleaver? Then again, anything’s better than having to attend another Good Charlotte band practice. Scientists say that a decapitated head can still see for a couple of seconds. Seeing my head separated from my own body would still be a better prospect that Joel demanding you listen to this one because “it’s about how I felt when I worked at the Dairy Mart”.

Well it doesn’t say they are dropping the restraining order against Maksim Miakovsky, the one who was the stalker and who was making the death threats. They are dropping it against his roommate – who wasn’t charged with anything in regards to this whole ordeal. Apparently he was the one that showed that Maksim Miakovsky where they resided at. I am not saying it’s a good move – just wanted to make that clear as it seems you may not have got that.
