Guys, we are tres tres behind the ball. While America has been focused on the presidential election, Europe is good and ready for the 2012 holiday season. Whuck?!
We are supposed to balls-to-the-wall on Christmas decorations. We are the ones with massive trees and too many lights per square foot covering our too-big homes.
I blame democracy. No, scratch that. I don’t, because Galeries Lafayette in Paris, France managed to do this today. A Louis Vuitton elephant, people. Father Christmas has arrived, and yes, he is materialistic.
Oh yeah, and there’s a Swarovski Christmas tree.
Let’s do better, America. If not for a brighter future, then at least for a blue ribbon in the worldwide Christmas stakes.
