Henry Cavill Talks ‘Superman’ For The First Time
British hunk, Henry Cavill, gives his first interview to Entertainment Weekly about his role as the new Clark Kent. Superman: Man of Steel is expected to be one of the biggest comic book movies in 2012. The new issue of EW details 2011 and 2012’s new class of superheroes including Spider-Man, Green Lantern, The Avengers, and Superman.
Henry Cavill tells in the interview one of the first things he had to do in the Superman screen test was to wear a replica of Christopher Reeve’s dated Superman costume and pull it off. He says, “Oh god. They’re going to look at me and go ‘He’s not Superman. Not a chance.'” Director, Zach Snyder, was impressed by Cavill’s ability to pull of the suit and got him the role.
No Lois Lane has been cast in the movie but many actresses have expressed interest, including hot mess forever, Lindsay Lohan. Rumors were rampant earlier this month that Kristen Stewart was in talks to play Lane but those were dismissed soon after. Many fans would like to see the smokin’ hot Olivia Wilde in the role. Who would you like to see play Clark Kent’s leading lady?
