Oh, how pathetic.
Like many of you out there, we’re a little (read: A LOT) tired of reality television. This doesn’t bode well for no-talent ass clowns like Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, whose careers solely depend on a vocation that requires skills not unlike those of prostitution. Desperate to shred their last bit of self respect, Montag and Pratt gave an interview to the Daily Beast about their rise and fall, with Pratt saying: “What we learned is: You can be too famous.” Whuck?
More or less blaming their delusion on The Hills‘ scripted reality concept, Spencer claimed that making up stories was the best way to keep themselves relevant. “We got so deep with how many storylines we had to do to continue the machine,” Spencer said, making reference to their divorce tale. “At that point, we were pulling our last cards. We felt the hot-air balloon losing its gas. And at that stage, our income would be selling the photo that would go along with the divorce.”
The couple, who maintain that they have never actually split up, now live rent-free at Pratt’s parents’ house in Santa Barbara and live off tacos and burritos. No more meals at Cut, says Montag. What kind of a life do they have to look forward to? “I have a lot of crystal balls,” Spencer said. “And they don’t tell me anything.”
That’s too bad.
