You know her, you love her and now it’s possible that former Melrose Place star Heather Locklear will return for a role on the remake. People reports that Heather is in talks to reprise her role as uber bitch Amanda Woodward.
Heather wouldn’t be the first cast member to join the new Melrose Place. Original series stars Laura Leighton, Thomas Calabro, Josie Bisset, and Daphne Zuniga have already signed on for guest starring roles, so really, it just seems logical that Heather would come back too.
Todd Slavkin, the show’s executive producer sounded like he would really want Heather to come back when he discussed it at the Television Critics Association summer press tour. “We’re huge fans of hers,” he said, but added that to bring an alumni back they have to see, “Does it feel organic? Does it not feel contrived? That’s really what’s important to us.”
Although no one has officially confirmed if Heather will reprise her role or not, I can’t see any reason why she wouldn’t do it. The show looks like it’s going to be a hit with its hot cast and scandalous story lines, and let’s be honest here, Heather hasn’t done much in a while.
