Hayden Panettiere’s TV Film Gets Slammed By Victim’s Father

Despite her recent TV movie being shit upon by nearly everyone, Hayden Panettiere was spotted yesterday doing some shopping at the Burberry boutique in Beverly Hills.

The film is about the real life murder of Meredith Kercher, whose father has slammed the production. John Kercher said the production – which shows his daughter being grabbed by actors playing Raffaele Sollecito and Rudy Guede – was “absolutely horrific”…

“To actually see it like this is very distressing,” Kercher told The Sun. “The scenes are absolutely horrific. It’s awful what these film people have done.”

Hayden plays Amanda Knox, who was – according to the film blurb – “painted as an oversexed, remorseless killer during her two-year trial leading up to her conviction and subsequent sentencing to 26 years in jail.”

The film airs on US channel Lifetime on February 21 so I guess American audiences can decide whether it falls into the great canon of Lifetime films…
