Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and a wizardry (grabbing at straws) of other stars hit the red carpet in New York last night for the premiere of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part I. The franchise’s biggest star, Radcliffe, spoke to MTV News about a depressing text he received from J.K. Rowling, author of the HP madness.
Rowling told Radcliffe via text that there would be no more Harry Potter. Gasp! Radcliffe told MTV News’ Josh Horowitz, “Basically, it amounted to the fact that she felt I had been very good in this Harry Potter film, and as a reward for that, she wasn’t going to [write] any more Harry Potter [books].”
Other stars who hit the Potter red carpet: Tom Felton, Sarah Jessica Parker, Rupert Grint, Ralph Fiennes, Johnny Weir, Melissa Joan Hart, Patrick Wilson, Lourdes Leon, Gabourey Sidibe, Darren Criss, and Drew Roy.
