‘Happy Endings’ Possibility Of Leaving TV

'Happy Endings' Parties
The cast of the hit show gets together.
The Chicago-set sitcom Happy Endings may soon experience a not-so-happy ending.

See what I did there?

The show that once aired on ABC was said to be picked up by USA Network but the company decided to pass on the series due to budgetary reasons. It also may have to do with the sitcoms history of low ratings.

The cult-hit comedy that stars Eliza Coupe, Elisha Cuthbert, Zachary Knighton, Adam Pally, Damon Wayans, Jr., and Casey Wilson follows the dysfunctional relationship between six best friends.

Seems a little bit like a Friends rip off to me. Why can’t writers think of unique sitcom ideas these days?

But not all hope is lost for Happy Endings fans though. Reports claim that the show may soon be picked up by a cable channel or non-network home such as Amazon or Netflix.
