Gwyneth Paltrow, 40, celebrated the release of her gluten-free recipe book, It’s All Good: Delicious, Easy Recipes that will Make You Look Good and Feel Great in Barnes and Noble at The Grove in Los Angeles yesterday (April 03, 2013).
Gwyneth word a monochrome printed dress by designer Isabel Marant dress and black chunky Michael Kors heels. She looked “very Gwyneth.”
The book, which promises to deliver easy and healthy recipes that will make us look good and feel great, is largely gluten and carbohydrate-free.
About the book, she says…
“Every single nutritionist, doctor and health-conscious person I have ever come across … seems to concur that (gluten) is tough on the system and many of us are at best intolerant of it and at worst allergic to it.”
The premise of the book is based on an elimination diet that her doctor put her on for three weeks to remove specific food groups to see if you feel better without them—with a low-carb, vegan edge. Paltrow eliminates coffee, alcohol, dairy, chicken eggs, sugar, shellfish, deepwater fish, potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, corn, wheat, meat, soy and all processed foods.
Ugh. Seriously? I mean, I can’t. I won’t.
