Gwyneth Paltrow And Cast At The Premiere Of ‘Contagion’
Gwyneth Paltrow looked stunning in a peach colored gown on the red carpet yesterday, at the premiere of her new film Contagion. The movie was screened at the Venice film festival, and boasts an impressive cast including Kate Winslet, Matt Damon, Jude Law and Marion Cotillard. Fellow cast members joined Paltrow on the red carpet.
In the film, Gwyneth plays a woman who transmits a lethal virus to America from Hong Kong, and almost immediately dies. The virus kills millions as scientists desperately try to find a cure. Paltrow has a few gory scenes, one being her death and another the autopsy scene, but all of the science was accurate and plausible.
There’s a reason movie stars have existed since the beginning of cinema: it’s good for audiences because they like people they can identify with. It’s very helpful to have movie stars playing as many of these roles as they can because you’re throwing so many characters at the audience. It’s the kind of cast the movie needed.
Who else is as excited as I am to see this movie? Oscar season is about to begin!
