‘GQ’ Reveals 5 Different Man Of The Year For 2009 Covers
Apparently, there were so many outstanding men who came to the attention of the staff at GQ magazine, that they decided to give out 5 separate Man of the Year awards, spread out over the same number of cover issues.
President Barack Obama nabbed himself the Leader of the Year distinction, while a grizzled Clint Eastwood peers menacingly into the camera daring GQ to give him the Badass of the Year award and get the hell off his lawn!
Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis–known more commonly as “The Hangover Guys”–share the prize of Funnymen of the Year while baby-faced Chris Pine earned himself Breakout of the Year. Tom Brady snatched up the Comeback of the Year Award and since I don’t really follow sports, I’ll have to take their word for it.
