The cast of Gossip Girl grace the cover of the latest issue of New York Magazine and an article inside gushes openly about how it is “the most awesomely awesome show ever” and I’d poke fun at them, except that it’s completely accurate. The authors admit to an initial attempt at an ironic love for the show, which gradually evolved into a genuine passion.
Listing off six reasons why the show is so ardently loved, the article says it best by describing it, “like The Hills–but with less agonizing dialogue and more human deviance.” Also, the complete and utter lack of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt is a noticeable advantage.
Dammit, I totally managed to let them worm their way into this post. I’m going to go wash my hands.
