Imagine you work your ass off in Hollywood with bit parts on “Two And A Half Men”, several Lifetime movies, and that show with James Belushi and then you get cast in a movie and it ends up being a huge hit and garnering tons of critical acclaim? And the buzz slowly grows and somehow, as if your fondest wish has been granted, you get nominated for a Golden Globe? And you buy a hot dress off the rack, and tell your whole family, and your Mom sends e-mails to everyone she knows, and your entire hometown tunes in? And you’re filled with the shuddery excitement that comes with the fulfillment of a dream? And then because of a writer’s strike, there’s no ceremony?
