If you have ever watched an episode of Fox’s hit tv show Glee then you know that bullying is an issue close to heart for cast and crew, both on and off camera. The dramedy tackles issues anyone could deal with in high school ranging from homosexuality, popularity, handicaps, the pressure to succeed, overbearing parents, divorce, weight, sex, drinking and teen pregnancy just to name a few.

In the end, the members of the Glee club always band together and support each other through the bullying they endure at William McKinley High School, which is why it is not surprising that the reality TV spin-off sister show that airs on OxygenThe Glee Project, chose “vulnerability” as the theme for this week with star Cory Monteith serving as mentor.

This episode will feature the competitors biggest fears and vulnerabilities, something they will need to be able to tap into if they were to star as a bullied teen on Glee. The theme inspired Oxygen Media to pair up with the Bully Project for an anti-bullying PSA featuring Cory and LeAnn Rimes that will air during the episode.

Even though Cory recently graduated from the Glee series, it is apparent that he and all of the original cast members will stay committed to Glee and what the show stands for. Other original members of the cast that have already served as mentors on season two of The Glee Project include stars Lea Michele and Naya Rivera. Look for Chris Colfer, Jane Lynch and Amber Riley in upcoming episodes.

“It’s really contributing to moving our show forward in the long run,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “We have a rare asset in The Glee Project in that we are able to bring new people on board who are truly qualified.”

The winner of the reality show earns a 7 episode spot on the hit show. Last season’s big winner, Damian McGinty, played adorable Irish foreign exchange student Rory Flanagan, and even got his 7 episode guest spot extended.

The show airs tonight, Tuesday at 10/9 Central on Oxygen.

Catch a sneak preview below and watch the competitors react to the theme of the week and their guest mentor.
