GLAAD Gives HBO Two Thumbs Up

For the third year in a row, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation has published its Network Responsibility Index for television programming.

According to GLAAD’s website, “It is intended to serve as a road map toward increasing fair, accurate and inclusive [lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender] LGBT media representations.” In the report, HBO lead the pack with 42% of their total programming time featuring LGBT content.

So that’s why Rex Lee has a big smile on his face here at the season 6 premiere of HBO’s Entourage. All of the abuse he takes from Jeremy Piven‘s character is, in fact, for a worthy cause.
