The younger Williams is a Yale graduate and currently stars on HBO’s Girls alongside Lena Dunham, and last night she lent her budding star power to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s Hot Pink Party at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City. Williams, wearing Donna Karan, was joined by Elizabeth Hurley, who wore a Jack Guisso Couture gown with Tresor earrings.
Hurley, who lost her grandmother to breast cancer, hosted the evening, attended by the likes of Michael Kors (who dressed model Erin Heatherton for the evening), Tory Burch, Hoda Kotb, Brenda Song and Hurley’s fiance Shane Warne. Lucky guests were treated to a performance by Sir Elton John, who was presented with a bouquet of flowers by fellow campaign supporter Hurley.
“In NY for the big Breast Cancer Research Foundation fundraiser tonight,” Hurley tweeted. ”Will very much miss my friend Evelyn. Massive thanks to everyone there tonight. Elton played so beautifully and we raised over 5 million dollars.”
Estee Lauder honcho Evelyn Lauder, who founded the organization, passed away in November 2011 after battling ovarian cancer.
