Gemma Arterton was dressed up in period costume to film Byzantium, a film which sees Arterton’s character turn her daughter (played by Saorise Ronan) into a vampire. Arterton, originally from Kent, shot scenes in Hastings, South East England, according to the Daily Mail.
In between takes, Arterton seemed to have trouble with her mic pack, which was strapped to her thigh. Once that was taken care of, it was back to weeping and acting like a nut on the beaches of East Sussex.
Neil Jordan, who directed 1994′s Interview With The Vampire and Show’s The Borgias series, will helm this vampire tale.
