It pains me to say this but Fergie was a knockout in her red dress last night at the Glamour Women of the Year awards in New York City. With her husband of two years, Josh Duhamel, who when asked by reporters about his wife, “Am I proud!? Did you see that red dress? She looks gorgeous!”
Her floor-length Zac Posen red gown was slashed to the thigh, showing off her near-perfect body and channeling Jessica Rabbit.
I can’t say much for the other stars and their outfits, though. It was abysmal…
Cher would have looked amazing if she had left the leather biker jacket off from her black dress. The singer was presented with an award for her activism with breast cancer research and AIDS awareness, and was given the award by Kate Hudson.
Hilary Swank and Hudson both turned up in semi-strange silver numbers, while Kelly Osbourne and Janet Jackson just wore very unflattering outfits. The latter presented Donatella Versace with her awards.
Most upsetting was Julia Roberts, who was nearly hidden in her awful outfit. She was presented with an award for her work promoting renewable energy, raising awareness for Rett syndrome and supporting Paul Newman‘s Hole In the Wall Gang camp.
What do you think? Was it a night full of fashion misses or am I just being a grump this morning, having not had my coffee yet?
