Fashion Fix: Sex Sells and Money Talks

The week has been all about celebrity faces, and not just any celeb will do. The old adage that sex sells is true. Beauty and sex appeal are a must to front campaigns from watches to jeans.

Jordache jeans are reinventing themselves from the height of its denim days in the seventies. Elizabeth Hurley joins the campaign in ultra tight indigo boot cut jeans with a big hair and big horse Jordache theme.

Scarlett Johansson has jumped aboard the Reebok design team. Her line is not so cleverly named Scarlett Hearts RBK. She tells Fashion Week Daily that she is going for an Olivia Newton John “Let’s Get Physical” look. I have a feeling that leg warmers and sweat bands are going to be a staple in the line. My God, help us all.

As for the women out there who need some eye candy, my favorite Patriot Tom Brady lends his sex appeal to Movado watches. A hot sweaty football player could probably sell me a giant ball of foil, and I would say, “Please sir, may I have another.”
