Oscar de la Renta is changing venues for his spring show. Moving from the traditional tents of Bryant Park to the lure of Park Avenue, his show will take place in a former Christian Science Church. The new event venue has less space than the 969 seats the largest of the tents in Bryant Park offer.
But come September 10th he might not receive a warm welcome. The residents of Park Avenue are already pissed at his decision to “bring noise and traffic” to their neck of the woods.
I wouldn’t complain. But then again they would be kicking me out of their side tracks after hanging out my luxury apartment window and screaming, “Hey Bitches! I am living in Park Avenue. Yeah, that is right. Jealous?!?! Fondue and mojito party at my place tonight!”
